Ettes’ Remodel

While we were staying with Licorice, we took advantage of taking DuEtte to the dealership for it’s annual checkup on the chassis and to replace the windshield that had developed a crack on one of our excursions and the crack kept on cracking! Anyway, it took longer for our windshield than anticipated and we ended up staying at Teree’s for a few extra days. That was great because we mostly just played games. But, now we are back in DuEtte and staying at the farm. We’ve had a few rainy days, but it’s nice to hear the rain on the RV while we are warm and toasty inside. Remodel Update: The latest word on the windows is that they did, indeed, order the wrong size. They have now been reordered and we are just waiting for those to arrive. We also had a special order window for one of the bathrooms that arrived not working properly, so that one has been sent back and reordered as well. It’s a good thing we are not in a hurry! We are grateful to be in a house today because we are having a big storm. Lots of wind and rain. Rain is needed, but the wind not so much. Power has gone out a few times. But, everything seems to be good. I’ve checked on our house and some of the neighbors and we are protected enough from the wind that there is no damage anywhere. And, since we’ve now been here a few days, Licorice has warmed up to us (read: Nan) and has stopped whimpering by the garage door waiting for her Momma. And, she is a good Rumikub player!!
